Body Language is a collection of poetry/fiction detailing Lebanese-American identity, the body,
the female body, and grief. The book has many different forms and characters. It details loss of
language (Spanish, French, Arabic) and the in-between.

​Sara Khayat was born in Los Angeles, CA. For six years she was editor-and-chief of Paper Plane
Pilot Publishing. She has a BA in English/Creative writing and is an MFA candidate for poetry &
fiction at Regis University.
