Ameliana Lorenzo-Martinez is fine. Better than fine. Her life gets better with every pound she
loses. She doesn’t have an eating disorder. She’s finally making good choices and certainly
doesn’t need anything the intensive outpatient program her mother is forcing her into has to
offer. She doesn’t need to “process” the accident that tore her family apart six years ago. She
just needs to continue to lose weight.
